John Maillard has exhibited in galleries around New Zealand and the United Kingdom for over two decades.

John has specialised in documenting landscapes and people, Themes that have taken him on assignment around the world. For the past five years John has focused his attention and lenses on landscapes across New Zealand, assembling a body of work for his second book, which is to be published in late 2009.

Technically retrospective, Johns process demands that digitally captured images are finished with minimal post-production, a synthesis that simultaneously honours traditional photographic values and modern technological capabilities.
